CorSec Raise Your Minis to New Heights
March 5, 2012 by dracs
CorSec Engineering have a selection of telescopic rods to allow you to vary the heights of your flying minis during games.
Being able to adjust the height of your minis like this would prove really useful in games such as Wings of War/Glory where it is important to take the height of your planes into account.
The tops of the rods are tipped with sphere shaped magnets, allowing you to repose your minis and give them the appearance of doing some kind of daring manoeuvre.
Are these useful for your games? Or are they just useless paraphernalia? Be sure to tell us your thoughts.

Something similar might be of use in Deep Wars if the game takes depth into account and the minis aren’t too heavy…of course the best secondary use for these existing rods is for pre-game pointing at maps to get in the mood or office presentations (with pie charts and everything).
😉
are they not just old style car aeriels?
I’ve used aeriels for some of the ww1 fighter games back in the day. They really do help give the feeling of air combat.
