Having him in the unit makes him harder to pick out but slightly easier to wound since his extra toughness wont be in play until all but one of the stealers is dead, but more importantly for me it takes away the fluffyness of building an all genestealer list, just like moving the kroot shaper into the unit does to the tau empires kroot lists, you can use a stealer-ish nid prime as as bigger brood lord but its not the same, in the same way inquisitors henchmen in carapace armour aren’t stormtroopers . 🙁
