Purple is a great colour for shades. I did that for my Former Fiends from confrontation and it looks good. That purple really added depth to the arms and neck..
This might not be the place to ask this but after you mentioned the rocks on it’s back, I was wondering why they have them? Is this growths or do they add them on for some reason? When I see them I think of them as earth elementals.
You’ll have to ask the Privateer Press people for the specific reason… I think trolls, in fantasy, are viewed as cthonian creatures from earth and stone. The Pratchettian troll is in fact stone… the Tolkien trolls turn to stone at dawn… The D&D troll, quite green and gaunt like Grendel and its ilk, has regenerative capabilities. The Shadowrun troll is merely a magically mutated human with regeneration AND weird rock-shaped horn-like growths everywhere. The Iron Kindgom troll, massive, blue, regenerative and semi-stone-like, somehow combines all of this with a new look. I couldn’t tell you why or how they came… Read more »
