WarMill Portable Utility Pod now Available

If your looking for a simple bit of terrain to spruce up your Sci-Fi board then check out this Portable Utility Pod from WarMill Gaming.
The kit is laser cut from MDF and with the entire set you can create a series of different buildings. They seem to be just the right thing for something like Infinity perhaps? I could also see this done up as a Corporation bunker for Warpath.
Is this something you would set to your boards?
this reminds me a bit like the movie the ghosts of mars, could be interesting for an alien planet that is in the process of being colonised.
I’ve got the warmill gates and walls and they are great, practical bits of 40k terrain.
Like the look of this, it would be cool if BoW did a ‘build off’ between this and the new system∞ kits.
It’s amazing what a coat of paint can do. The pod looks really good.
That looks real handy and easy to assemble. I take it it just clips together?
Those have potential.
@manpug
Yeah it all clips together, the roof and door are also removable 🙂
The yellow and black is a cracking paint job…really love the look of theses!!
I love these, top quality look to them.
Makes me wish I played a game that I could use them in.
a short while ago people were posting in to ask where BoW got the shipping containers from that feature on their games table. It turned out you couldn’t get them anymore.
Well that dosn’t matter now because these look far better.
I love this. I’d like to get a few to match my Tau army.
I like these very much. It’s a good thing we see more and more of these. I’d probably buy those if my main army weren’t Orks. I think I’m stuck with the old school method of scratchbuilding everything… Which isn’t all that bad after all. I will have a very distinct table in the future 😉 But I really like these laser cut stuff. It works perfectly with Infinity, but I think you can really use it with 40K without much hesitation. After all not all utility buildings and structures need to have a Gothic structure right? It would actually… Read more »
These look good but are very similar in design ethos to these from Sarria precision:

This is a case of two teams working totally independently coming up with a similar theme. In case anyone thinks we copied them, we posted the first WIP pics of our Pod on our Dakka thread on the 15th of December, Sarissa revealed the first pics of their range on the Infinity forum on December 26th I think? We posted pics of ours on the Infinity forum on the same day as theirs came out to avoid being accused of copying them later down the line.
Realistically it would be hard to design 2 pods independently that didn’t look like a like.
remit; futuristic shipping container converted for multiple functions, optional feet, door one end, stackable. i think my design would not be far off yours as well.
Yeah great minds 😉
Of course Warmill. I was not suggesting you guys did copy anything just pointing out a similar product. 🙂
