The West gets Wilder with Gangfight Games
February 9, 2012 by brennon
Check out these awesome new concepts from Gangfight Game Studios for future models in their Blackwater Gulch range.
Loving the look of these guys and can't wait for the Wrassler. Apparently he might even get a shotgun over his back just to add to his menacing appearance. It is the Wild West after all.
Looking forwards to these future models?

Always room for Wild West!
This stuff looks really cool. The Wild West is a vastly underused resource for gaming.
Are you thinking of what I’m thinking @beerogre ?….
I like the look of these. If Gangfight can get their pricing structure right i will be very tempted. 🙂
I think the models are at present so expensive due to the fact that the rules, which were in development for quite a while and likely had high production costs, are free, but that’s just my speculation.
The models themselves are a bit too cartoony for my tastes, to be honest.
I think it may have more to do with the decision to have the add-on bits sprues; basically doubling the casting labour costs, even if the additional metal used was not too much. From comments on frothers I think the guy behind Gangfight did not anticipate there being much cost increase for the add-on bits sprues – I just hope that it will not hurt his start-up position too greatly. The rules aspect is effectively a non-cost if he has developed them himself. Costs are only incurred if designed or contributed to by anyone as a work-for-hire or if printed.… Read more »
Howdy folks. Blackwater Gulch is my game 🙂 Thanks for posting these pics, BOW.. I was about to send them to you! Anyway, about prices, yes the gang leaders cost more than I expected, and it is mostly due to the weapons sprue. It’s pretty much the cost of 2 figures, not 1. Oh well, I always learn best when it’s the hard way 🙂 Anyway, these 3 pics are for models that will be single-piece sculpts so I expect them to be much cheaper. I won’t know how cheap till I actually get the molds made, but still. As… Read more »
