Need the Right Tools for the Job?
February 8, 2012 by brennon
Looking to get some new tools for your hobby? Then there's a set of new releases from PK-Pro that might interest you.
A looks very professional, but I manage to get by on by old pair of yellow handled clippers and some bits and bobs from a tool box. However if your looking for top quality this should be a good place to start.
Need to upgrade your tools?
That foam cutter looks great. Is that rechargeable battery or an AC power cord?
It’s battery operated.

30€ (about £25?) for the foam cutter with the different heads seems quite reasonable. The woodland scenics bow is over £30 and that’s just the one tool. Ok, it’s AC but still…
Looks pretty standard stuff, to be honest I’d guess most people just use whatever brand of knife, clippers or foamcutter that their local shop had in when they decided they needed one, or the cheapest on ebay at the time.
Foam Cutters are awesome, Replacement wires are a pain in the butt to find though, any suggestions anyone?
don’t know man, these look like a better version of the one you and Lloyd normally use and the hook attachment looks like it will work better than the point to point cutter.

When I was googling for a price comparison on uk store foam cutters I found this:

£2.10 for 4ft of wire. Out of stock mind but I’m guessing something like that most places wouldn’t hold in stock but order in for you.
