Crystal Tech Bases… now with no Crystals!
January 9, 2012 by dracs
Tabletop Art have released a new variation of their Crystal Tech bases, this time minus the crystals.
This prompts the philosophical question, if a crystal tech base has no crystals is it still a crystal tech base?
The removal of the crystals makes the cool designs on the bases stand out a lot more, and they will be perfectly suited for any sci-fi miniatures, especially the Necrons in my opinion.
Will any of you be basing your minis on these? What figures do you think these will suit best?
Simple and to the point. great looking bases
Without the crystals they seem a little to bland. At least we know what ever models you use them with will fit on the base. Many (not just Tabletop Art) add things that just make it hard to place your model safe on the base.

AH, A the mind of young philosopher pondering the unknowable….
Do you dream of woodchucks and hypothetical chucked wood volumes, chickens facing the pitiless existential dilemma of cross traffic navigation, and the relative position of horses in proximity to carts? Do you ponder the sound of tree’s not falling in the woods?
Does a Crystal Tech base with no crystals, by any other name, seem so Necrony?
Ah a student of Descartes I see.
BoW Sam
Descartes is the old paradigm. The new one is – I spam, therefor I am. 🙂
As a fan of Infinity, these might make cool Aleph bases. A subtle nod to the A.I. god.
You have a good point. Change the colour and it will be a match made in A.I. heaven.
On second thought,
Greetings, program.
Necrons will look at home on these bases.
