This is an amazing model…so much so, I’m gonna loot it for my boyz!!!
Hi first i have to say you guys are doing a great job with the website, that really got me into playing warhammer. The new DE models look great but i wouldnt wat to assemble let alone carry them around. Playingwise i dont know, at my gaming club we looked through the dex and most experienced players said they are just c***p. Yeah sure they are beeing a “glasscannon” and whatnot but i think they have really good options with fast vehicles, lances and vect just rocks with 4+ initiative steal if your playing wyvern spam. I would say that the guys are your club calling them crap because they are looking at them with the mind set of how they play pretty much all the other races in 40k. DE are extremely fragile, which requires a total rethink in how you play the game. Marines for example are very forgiving, you don’t need to think so much about what you do with them (obviously we’re talking relatively here!!!) but once you master the DE (I would personnally say, the hard race in 40k to use) then they are devastating. Nice looking model! I can’t wait to see a 3 colours up on it? Maybe? I’m glad that the Dark Eldar were given some more attention by GW as I think they were kinda left behind. I see that a certain Beast of War forgot to take his meds,
great model have some of the old raiders think this is a vast improvement cant wait for the rest of the range
I’m planning on putting wyches in this, get them in combat quick and protect them due to thier awful armour save.

Love these models! Mr. Goodwin and the team have excelled themselves. The new raiders are awsome. at least they will look like better wrecks than the old models!!!

I am looking forward to fielding them with my new DE army.
I am not concerned about the AV to much because they are reasonably point wise to treat them as fire and forget. Besides they will not be hit easily with their speed.
I think they were spot on with the new DE. Great model, and great dex. I love the vid. keep them going. I agree that BOW is keeping me in the hobby. Keep up the good work guys.
i like this model, i think im going 2 get one and turn it into a ork looted wagon, just cause i love making random ork convertions of stuff that really coudlnt be converted, like my looted drop pod.
Here’s a question… maybe they’ll be a vid anyway, but can we assume the ravager box has everything you need to make a raider? I think it probably will, the magnets will be coming out!!! best idea I could come up with for the vehicles when I played DE (back in 4th) was to move your raiders/ ravagers onto one side of the board in a group. Have the bulk move 12 so they can fire the big guns but have one raider drop off it’s bods, then turbo to get a cover save but also have it covering the… Read more »
