New Mantic Corporation Previews
December 26, 2011 by brennon
Some images of the actual Corporation Marines have surfaced over the Christmas weekend from Mantic Games. Check them out below!
Not looking bad at all. I especially like the mix between semi-archaic armour and the futuristic guns at their disposal. It really gives a feeling of an organisation that encompasses a large section of the galaxy, drawing from different resources and peoples.
But what about a colour scheme for the new Corporation troopers? Well Mantic have a selection on their blog here, but I have picked out a few of my favourites below.
You can have your say on the blog post linked above as to which scheme you would like to see on the new miniatures when they finally get displayed.
But have your say below as well, let us know which you think are top notch.

i dont follow….?
There’s nothing of a similar concept to these at all, Ronnie didn’t put his foot in it and call them “Imperia…I mean Coporation” at any point during a seminar at the warpath launch…
😉
I really, really, REALLY, hope this is what the plastic troopers will be. If they keep this style of look I’ll be happy. Keep it up guys and yes this it a great Christmas gift to wake up to such news and sights. 🙂
One of the warpath launch seminars had Ronnie saying that they’ll be all plastic-resin apart from the metal hero, that might have changed, I might have misunderstood stood the recording I heard, or Mr Renton may have been drunk(it was a launch *party* after all…), but those look like resin, and he did mention how he wants the corporation all in one material and until they can switch it ALL to plastic kits resin is the only one its viable in.
the last colour scheme looks like ultraman. 😀
the style is solid. nothing new or fancy.
Id say the gun needs some work, looks like detail has been added just for details sake.. and the first trooper has a very stiff pose. the crouching trooper lokoks just awesome though!
Why the ski boots?
The eighth race is space-penguins.
I like the fluff, a dash of Dune there and a nod to 40K but much less baroque than either, rather more grounded, like Infinity. The minis are solid, I agree the standing trooper is a bit static but they’re nice, unfussy space-soldiers; scale allowing you could slot those guys into almost any sci-fi setting.
I for one like the standing pose. it does look like he is more on guard than in the heat of combat, but a good mix of pose styles will really make your army look bigger when you have them spread out across 8 feet on a table edge.
I think these are just the two they chose to show the design of the gear the troopers use, rather than the only two they’re doing- it could be the bodies are the only two with different heads arms and guns which would open up the obvious pose of five kneeling and firing with five standing reloading behind them (Orx Drift anyone?) or having squads all firing or all casually walking as if on low risk patrol etc.
Well crafted, widely appealing minis. Well done Mantic! Plus, I like the basic style, which will be easy to augment. If, as they usually do, find good pricing I shall be getting a box or two of the Corps!
Nice stuff here – definitely going to make a lot of people re-evaluate how much they need that winged skull on their weaponry…of course using your preferred Oyumaru equivalent to make a greenstuff copy for the breastplates on these guys might be possible. Given that there won’t be Corporation vehicle kits any time soon, if you don’t want to use the venerable and Imperial-sanctioned Chimera and Russ hulls you can look at vehicles from Old Crow, Antenociti, Pig Iron and Secret Weapon as well as striders from Scotia Grendel (they do vehicles too from the old Kryomek range – one… Read more »
