FireForge Games are kicking off their new selection of miniatures with these plastic Teutonic Knights available to pre-order now.
These look like they could be some nice medieval miniatures and the box art also looks rather impressive. I personally look forward to seeing more from these guys.
What's you verdict on these? Do you think you might try and pick them up?

£20 for 12 is it…?
Bit pricey but nice models…
GW only gives you 8 for that price, so not too bad…
Bit Pricey? In what world is that pricey? Good solid pricing.
Good quality miniatures for £1.60 each, WELL worth it.
The price is fair considering the quality and componants you get. Better value than WG Celt cavalry, 10 for £22 (who needs metal horses anyway) and better quality than WF 12 for £18. And how much are 12 all metal cavalry nowday’s? No, 12 for £20 is OK.
So these guys are focusing on the Crusades in particular. Seems like there is already a lot of competition for this era?
I hope FireForge, or someone else (maybe BoW?), posts comparison shots with other ranges; kinda looks more in scale with Warhammer Fantasy than it does with eBob or Perry’s medieval ranges. $32-ish for 12 miniatures isn’t too bad, especially since there seems to me to be a lack of miniatures like this on the market. I always assume that the historical High Middle Ages should be a popular period in wargaming, video gaming, and films…but it’s really not, disappointingly.

Are they 28mm? My bretonnians are being painted as crusaders, some ritterbruder would be a nice addition

Wish we had a picture of the horses or models together just to see what they really look like. I’m confident they will serve the purpose they where made for well.
Judging from the positive feedback above these models prove the points that I have been making for a while now – 1) Versatile models will sell better than “beautiful” models 2) Models that can double for both fantasy/historical will hopefully encourage more people to overlap in gaming. Why not purchase Teutonic Knights to be your Bretonnian knights that you could then use to recreate the 3rd Crusade or Baltic Crusades? These look really good, they would probably go well with some of the perry miniatures; wars of the roses or mercenaries boxed sets. I’ve been looking at starting a human army for kings of war, and I’m torn now between these guys with the perry miniatures sets, or doing a samurai force using the war games factory stuff.
