December 15, 2011 by dracs
Forge World have released the 11th volume of Imperial Armour, The Doom of Mymeara!
"The Imperial ice world of Betalis III is under attack from the combined might of three massive Eldar war hosts. Their motivation for attacking this seemingly insignificant planet is unknown, but General Myndoras Odon of the Cadian 6th Armoured Regiment is intent on bringing about the total destruction of these Eldar invaders. Wielding the might of three Imperial Guard regiments and joined by the savage strength of Bran Redmaw’s Great Company and the colossal power of Titans from the Legio Gryphonicus, the Eldar of Craftworld Mymeara, Craftworld Alaitoc and their Corsair allies may soon regret attacking one of the Emperor’s worlds." - Forge World
This latest volume of Imperial Armour will provide you with all the necessary background to play out this battle, with rules for new heroes, war machines and more for both Eldar and Imperium.
So guys what do you all think of this? Will any of you be picking up a copy?

It’s worth the price if you have cash to burn. But usually FW is always over priced. Shame they don’t distribute direct from the US as well. The shipping costs are nuts.
I will say that I do like the Eldar Corsair conversions, and the new(ish) Aspects look really cool. No idea how they play though.
The thing is the filler is the brilliantly painted shiny models from FW, on the one hand you are basically paying for a catalogue with no prices in, but on the other hand It is quite fun to look through the pictures.
That’s true about the pictures for me, as I have a FW Tauros and some Elysians to build and seeing them on the books’ cover has tempted me to get it so I can get some ideas for paint schemes (plus it’s cool to see a different Wolf Company written about with illustrations – as well as the new Eldar Craftworld, but I’m more interested in the Wolves and Elysians :P) in addition to seeing what the new rules for the Elysians may be-but it’s an expensive way to find out! I’m hoping for some Christmas money, then I might… Read more »
Oops, I meant to say the picture of the Elysian Tauros vehicles inside the book, as shown on the FW pictures, and not on the cover 😛
Looks interesting, the FW Eldar are some of their best I think too.
