Privateer Press Release Plastic Warpwolf Kits
December 15, 2011 by dracs
Privateer Press have will be releasing new plastic Warpwolves for the Circle Orboros in your games of Hordes.
There will be three distinct ways to build and field these mighty beasts: the Warpwolf Stalker, the Pureblood Warpwolf, and the Feral Warpwolf.
"Warpwolves are humans that have been transformed into savage beasts well suited for battle. The druids of the Circle Orboros use the vicious feral warpwolves to strike their enemies hard and fast, unleashing them to sow death and discord with tooth and claw. Contrastingly, the white-furred purebloods cut swathes through the enemies of Orboros with measured ferocity and bone-shattering howls. Retaining some portion of their human intellects, the sword-wielding stalkers are stealthy killers that prowl behind enemy lines and strike without warning." - Privateer Press
What do you think of these guys? Will they be making an appearence in your Circle forces?
Please sir can I have new undies and trousers…these loook pretty good for 3 in 1 plastic
They look good (although for the feral,it wasn’t that hard to be better than the previous sculpt…)
I still prefer the metal pureblood though.
Bill
Id buy it for the feral as nothing wrong with metal pureblood and stalker
Those look very good and metal onces were already good looking.
I’m thinking awesome substitute for Beastmen Minotaurs.
Getting some – using as Kow Undead Werewolves. Looking awsome!
I might not be much of a fan of the Privateer Press games, but I can not fault their models and the Feral Wolf on the bottom will be finding his way onto my Blood Bowl pitch as an alternate sculpt very soon.
Hordes first plastic multi kit beastie is great. Looking forward to the legions beastie if this is what the plastic turns out like.
Oooh… Yummy ! I’m going to use them as large werewolves in my D&D games as well…
BoW Romain
really cool kit, it just might pull me back to hordes…
I feel like the Pureblood should be wearing DJ headphones…. whaaaasup!
Well, now I know which army I’d choose if I ever want to start playing Hordes:-P
I really like the look of these guys… I did not think anything would come close to Wolfen, but I think I like these better (not better than Devourers though).
If I did start Hordes, I think I am chosing Circle, with these 3 in the starting lineup. I would likely do a weapon swap on the Stalker though.
Cant deny how great these kits look. Never really liked circles play style though so i am really excited for the Legion Blight Spawn Kit so i can magnetize it.
These might join my SKAVEN Hoard as Rat Ogres.
