I hate necrons now…
Hi Guys,
Orikan the Diviner sounds a lot like Mumm-Ra from the Thundercats. For brief periods, he could transform from a mummy to his super-powerful form, known as “Mumm-Ra the Ever Living”. New special rule: You have to use the voice of the cartoon charactor when transforming. 🙂
Preferred enemy: Lion-o Johnson (sorry).
Snarf
Ancient spirits of Darkness turn this decayed form into Orikan the Empowered!
With Temporal Snares, does the rule say models CAN take the lowest roll or MUST take the lowest roll? Only the latter wording is more likely to hurt your opponent and make it more difficult to get onto the board…the former gives them a way out.
They can move lowest D6 result […] rather than the highest.
So not as effective as Darrell said? That’ll make Orikan less used…
nah, it means that they are only ABLE to move the lowest roll – rather than having a choice. Rules as intended…
‘Able’ and ‘can’ both imply choice to me, so nothing I’ve read here has made this clearer and I don’t have the codex. I’m suffering from a distinct lack of clarity here, mind you with the Death Ray fresh out with no FAQ I’m not alone at least.
Let me introduce you to two rules, deep strike and reserve – both mean temporal snares are ineffective as the units arrive from turn 2 onwards as it only works on turn one.
Yes but what darrell is saying is that this tactic would be devastating during the dawn of war deployment.
this is probably a wierd place to put a comment like this, but what happened to John
