Bronze Pattern Turbo Packs!

OK... OK... they're jump packs, but I like Turbo Packs better. Check out the new retro-style jet packs from MaxMini!
I would imagine these are designed to go with the Steam Knight heads and the mechanical hammers, both of which I've pictured below...
What's the verdict guys... are you making a retro-marine army?

i really like maxminis stuff. Those steam knight heads are especially good, i bought some of their fallen legionairre heads for my renegade guardsmen army and they look really good. The pics really dont give the quality of the sculpts justice.
Man, I really wish these had come out earlier before I bought all of those Sanguinary Guard jump-packs on eBay to make my own Raptors (I really hate the current Raptor sculpt). It’d be easy to ad a bit of greenstuff and some spikes and make these really Chaos-y.
The 3rd and 4th heads from the right are my favourites and remind me of the helmets in the Horus Heresy: Collected Visions book (unless I’ve forgotten about the other style helmets these look like in the book). Why doesn’t Forgeworld do them?! Then again, these are probably cheaper, but they also look wicked. 🙂
That jet pack is sweet! The paint job really helps it.
I bought the ‘mutations’ upgrade pack from MaxMini and, whilst they werent exactly proportional to the CSM body and better suited to Guardsmen, they were excellent quality and i found a use for the components in the end. This would be my only gripe with MaxMini really, that theres no indication if their uprgrade parts are best suited for marine or guard bodies. Had this issue with Scibor too when i bought the lion pauldron conversion pack. They only worked on terminators and not standard Marines. They probably have to be careful with how blatantly they say that they are parts for GW minis, you know what GW is like with lawsuits
