Mad Robot Set to Release the Harook

Mad Robot Miniatures are previewing their next 15mm sci-fi release. Check out the Harook.
Here's a little background on these new alien minis.
"Very little is understood about the Harook; they are unpredictable and have an unknown agenda. Although they have an affinity to other avian species of life, it would appear that they have disdain for all others, especially humanity. Their speech patterns, consisting of a complex series of squawks and screeches, do not live up to the advanced technology they bear on the battlefield. This leads some to believe that an advanced, as of yet unknown, intelligence directs them."
I have to say that I rather like these sculpts and I think that they will be a worthy addition to many 15mm scale sci-fi games.
What do you think of these? Do you like the look of them?
They look kinda like Beak from the x-men. I’m not generally a fan of 15mm but the mad robot stuff looks a lot cleaner and more detailed than I’m used to at that size, so I guess I’ll have to wait and see what they actually end up producing before I write it off.
Cartoon chickens with ray guns?
I’m constantly bemused by the things for which there seems to be a market in 15mm scale. I wonder if the same stuff would sell in 28mm and the manufacturers of the aforementioned are just unwilling to take the risk.
You know, this would go well with the Sci-Fi Flash Gordon stuff from Hydra miniatures… Wrong scale ? It doesn’t matter, just say that the chicken aliens are shorter than humans !
