Scibor’s New Men at Arms WIP
October 3, 2011 by dracs
Scibor have put up some preview pics of the greens for their upcoming Men at Arms miniatures. Take a look and see what you think.
These medieval style figures will be great to provide some alternative figures to your basic troops in human armies. They would be particularly suited to Bretonnia and other European fantasy armies.
Being of a medieval style they might be able to be used in historical gaming, but I am not sure how they well they would hold up as historical figures.
Can any of you tell us if these are at all historically accurate or are they simply just generic medieval men at arms?

Exelent looking models so far
Lookin awesome
Such a change in direction from dwarfs and armored space men. If they are anything like the other range we are in for a treat.
Looking really good. Even at this stage the greens have quite a lot of character, reminds me a little of the Rackham’s now classical Men-at-Arms from Confrontation. Looks to be a really neat release. Previously Scibor’s releases have quite often followed GW’s army releases pretty much on the mark, so I’m guessing the Bretonians are on their way…
Without doing any research, they have the right feel to them to be historically accurate.
The padded jerkins and helms look right afaik
Only thing I would question is the flat hat/helm so wuld be interested to hear what someone with knowledge of armour has to say
For my tastes these would be too late in style for Brets, but still like them a lot.
I would say they look fine for Bretonians – even if they seem too well feed for them acording to the fluff 😉
That pig is missing his hind legs and the chaps are missing their arms
Putting 2 and 2 together… lol
Remind me of the sort of crazy character we used to get in Confrontation figures. I’m sure that crowd will lap these up.
