Underestimated Games Shows Off Some Sneak Peeks For Purgatory
February 20, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
The apocalyptic world of Purgatory is coming together more and more each day as Underestimated Games is working feverishly behind the scenes.
Knowing full well that I'm such a huge fan of the artwork, they were really excited to share a beautiful picture featuring the Angel Penemue of the Refugees of Religion. This is an alternate piece of art to be featured in the rule book.
As if the Heavenly Penemue isn't enough, we also got a sneak peek at some really interesting WIP images for three additional pieces. As they continue to build on the ever changing world of Purgatory, we are learning of additional beings that have stepped through one of the portals - the Haemogoblins.
Though we don't know much of these fellas at the moment, it's safe to say that they look a bit creepy, which should definitely make you question their intentions.
Next up is a sketch of a Warrior. I'm dying to know more about this gal's story. She looks like a Spartan meets a mermaid, meets and octopus. This is one that I will really look forward to seeing become a miniature.
And last, but certainly not least, is an example of the brilliant details that go into defining the cohorts. Have a look at the piano in the works for Stevie of the Soul Train!
Not only does it look sweet, but you have to wonder it's purpose in the War For Heaven?
What do you think of the latest goodies in the works for Purgatory?

Harp for Heaven, Piano for Pugatory (Piano Accordian for hell ….. Gary Larsen fans will understand)
+1. Not nearly enough Gary Larson references these days.
I playtested Stevie in the early version of the rules and the piano is a beast of a weapon.
I saw these pics in one of the KS updates or Facebook posts but I must have missed the Haemogoblins. (Also missed the play on words until my autocorrect pointed it out) They look awesome and I’ll definitely grab them as soon as they’re available.
I’ve been interested in this game for a long time now. I hope they manage to get it out this year.
