Here's the new Hordes faction reveal from Privateer Press!
We sat in on this and it's got quite a fantastic look to the faction. The models look great with a really fascinating aesthetic.
The new leader models all have some brilliant abilities and there is a vast array of interesting models coming too.

Really not a fan of this. The old witch has been weaving her web, playing factions off each other for years, and now she leads a army of pumpkin men from the back of a walking boat? Sorry PP, this wasn’t worth the wait.

My thoughts exactly, thought they look cool for malifaux, that said at least PP now have some minis in their range I could see myself buying…
The grymkin look awesome, the fatekeeper is a fantastic model. Really cool video as well.

Loving the old witch in this, will be getting her at least. Will have a good think about the actual faction as i see the models better. Looks promising.
Really looking forward to weaving the grymkin into my IKRPG game, its going to be fun. They will make for some interesting challenges for my players. Not sure if I will play the faction (horror/halloween theme does ring with me, why I dont play Malifaux). Shame it will be like Convergence and what we see will be all we get. They should flesh them out with more releases.
My frequent thought whilst watching the video was the faction looks like it belongs in a different game, and as others have already mentioned, that game is Malifaux.
Sounds like PP is yet again tweaking the mechanics of the game. First it was the shields of the Retribution, then the focus-sharing of the Convergence and now this where the Grymkin have to wait until certain events unfold on the battlefield to use their “feat” or whatever it’s called. I like the figures, especially the Beasts, but not sure about this mechanic change. And, Warren, more Pigmen! I guess I’ll have to wait for the starter box to hit the shelf (or be given away by some kind website that I support).
Just bought the 2-player Warmachine 2 weeks back, I was going to expand the Cygnar and eventually get an Orboros set but this has piqued my interest.
really drawn to these has my second hordes faction ,while there is certainly a malifaux feel about it for me that’s a positive not a negative love the creepy weird vibe you get from these
I like the the look of this, there are many facets to game world and I like the way Privateer Press are starting to push the edges of theirs. Would love to see this faction in battle with the Protectorate it would be a change to see the roles reversed and the opposition the moral outrage towards the Protectorate, that they usually display towards their foes. (They are in the right you know, Menoth is a Tyrant) One question I would like to know about this expansion faction. Still a little 2edgy4me for my tastes, but overall the mechanics seem really cool at first glance. Also very excited for Old Witch2!
To all; according to official PP posts on their forum this is a limited and contained faction like Convergence. Also there will be more models not shown in the video.
I am a massive Privateer Press fanboy, and love almost everything they produce. But im afraid this faction is the exception not the rule. This, as others have mentioned, has way too much of a Malifaux esc look and feel of the faction that I think is a little jarring in the Iron Kingdoms. I know faction style is very much a to each their own thing, but we already have Cryx and Cephalyx as “Nightmare” factions. How much more scared to they think little children can be? Really interesting faction, can’t wait for more information. That Heretic miniature in particular was simple beautiful. Been undecided on a Hordes faction for so long and this one is right up there for me.

Wow these guys are going to be great!! I really like the pumpkin men, and The Child looks like she will be one of the strongest characters out there, loving the GrymKin!!
i should point out, that my reference to Malifaux in an earlier post was NOT a negative at all, seeing as i like Malifaux, although i am on a hiatus from it as it started to get a bit samey with the latest book, lots of lovely models but their rules just seem you know, same old same old. Besides, loving Warmahordes as always and for me it just keeps getting better.
