Zealot Work On Sci-Fi Ships For Ganesha Games’ Star Eagles
February 10, 2017 by brennon
Zealot Miniatures have been working with Ganesha Games to produce a range of Sci-Fi ships for their game, Star Eagles.
The ships look utterly fantastic and it was quite the joy to see them pop up on social media this week. The game will be a rules system allowing you to fight out those dogfights from the screen you've always wanted to as you take control of between four and twelve ships and do battle.
While the game will feature the ability to play one off missions you will be encouraged to dive into the campaign system and see your pilots grow in experience over time. While they are open to you creating and using your own ships they will have two factions to choose from when the game launches.
The two factions will break down into the S’Sekai and the loosely tied together Confederate Stars. One would assume that the ships you see here are based around the Humans in the game however you can check out some more work on the S'Sekai on the group linked at the top of this piece.
We're excited to learn some more about this game which came somewhat out of the blue for us! Considering our recent dip into nostalgia with ELITE it would be fun to check out more Sci-Fi games in space.
What do you think of their ships?

These look nice, will be interested in following this, only two factions at the moment but I hope it grows (I am a “Fluff” addict and the more well developed gaming worlds the better)
Cool looking ships. The 2nd one would look quite at home in a Tau armada too.
What’s the size of these models? It’s hard to figure out just from the renders.
1/285 scale or 6mm.
The top one looks great. Very Klingon bird of prey
nice ships.
They sort of remind me of old school sci-fi movies.
The ships are 1/285 scale which means a human would be 6mm tall. They are basically the same scale as X-Wing ships.
Reminds me of Silent Death by Iron Crown Enterprises.
I haven’t heard of until now. Is this a game maker deciding to produce a range of their own miniatures? I really like the look of these ships and would be interested in giving the game a try. I might also be interested in buying some to use in an Infinity RPG game as well or maybe even the Elite dangerous RPG. All in all though they are definitely some of the nicest space fighter miniatures on the market at the moment.
Those are really good looking ships.
I think some of these would make good drones in a 1:48 sci-fi world 🙂
