Eureka Go Island Hopping With WWII Pacific Aussies
February 9, 2017 by brennon
Eureka Miniatures are adding to their World War II collection with some island hopping Australians. You can get a preview of how they're coming along here...
As you can see they have been working away on some troopers armed with rifles and wearing those trademark hats that you'd associate with the Australians.
They look like they're going to come together as a neat squad on the tabletop with plenty of different poses to mix things up. Now you just need to make an island hopping tabletop to use them on.
Get working on those water effects and sandy isles!

Very nice. For those who don’t know the guns they’re holding are called Owen guns. Made in Australia and were popular because you could lie down and still fire them plus they are pretty reliable.
Deffinately have to get some of these and do a Kokoda force with them all torn up and battered
@elessar2590 yes they would be great for a Kokoda force. (the opportunity of refighting that campaign would be one thing that would stop me vacillating, and get me to bite the bullet and get fully into Bolt Action) Very nice minis, Eureka, well done.
good for Burma which isn’t as well mentioned for games.
These are awesome! I am probably going to mix them with the Brigade Games range to make my Aussie army for Bolt Action.
