The Adventurers: Pyramid of Horus is Released! With Painted Minis!

Fantasy Flight Games do love their miniatures in the board games they produce, and the new release of The Adventurers: The Pyramid of Horus is no different...

2 to 6 players play through together trying to recover the lost treasures of Sanakht, avoiding mishaps and pitfalls along the way. It looks like it should be great crazy fun for board game enthusiasts.

As you can see from this shot the board is adorned with plastic minis. Well, how about these (admittedly lovely) pre-paints below?

I really like these, but as we all know pre-paints are a bit of a sore spot with some people.  I love the character in these and they have even added detail and definition to some of the models!

But the important bit, what do YOU think?

These minis might cost a little more, but is it worth it? Have you bought any pre-paints from FFG before?
