Munchkin Shakespeare Kickstarting In February
February 1, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
I know what you're thinking- I had the same question myself when I read about this news. Why on Earth would Steve Jackson Games need to go to Kickstarter for another variety of a game that's been around for years? A fair question for sure, but I have to confess that their answer made me feel rather content.
Considering the idea of Munchkin Shakespeare began as a fan based concept aboard a JoCo Cruise (yes, this is a thing!), Steve Jackson Games saw it only fair to make this game be by the fans and for the fans on the truly fan-based platform of Kickstarter.
Steve and Andrew polled audience members for card ideas and added plenty of their own. Just think of all the Shakespearean drama and wit that can be harnessed into a game of Munchkin.
The Kickstarter will launch on February 7th and will most assuredly capture the attention and hearts of fans of the popular game.
So I ask you this, "To crowdfund, or not to Crowdfund?"
"The Kickstarter will launch on February 7th and will most assuredly capture the attention and hearts of fans of the popular game..."

Ha! And given how the boys like to joke around and Warren likes to use double entendre words especially in Backstage videos I am surprised they have not played a game of Munchkin live. I think they should invite the Master Munchkin Steve Jackson to the studio to play and then ask them to spill the beans on the upcoming Car Wars 6e as well that will include miniatures. That would be Epic!
