For Beasts of War, the first Polar Vortex Gaming Convention is in the books. They still have another full day of gaming tomorrow. It is amazing to see the birth of a new convention, what will the future hold? Only time will tell.

Dawn and Mike have a quick chat about the Dragon Fall convention that will be happening in October of this year.

Dawn talks with Todd from Grognard Games one of the newer stores in the area about his convention experience so far.

People are having a blast with the massive amount of Play To Win titles. There's nothing better than getting to try new games with the added bonus of possibly taking it home with you. I just found Alan's Adeventureland and I definitely need to add this to my collection. It's like Rollercoaster Tycoon in a board game.

Cold Iron Conventions have brought out a great team of enthusiastic GM's to run tables for D&D, Pathfinder & DCC. Players are really enjoying their games. You can tell these are folks that truly love their RPG's as the flow of game play is easy and fun for everyone at the table.

Dawn catches up with Robert and they chat about the immersive space combat simulator Artemis Bridge.

It's great to see my new favorite game, Star Wars Destiny, getting some love. Jango Fett seems to be the popular choice being run in decks. I'm really looking forward to seeing the combos.

Polar Vortex is sponsoring a silent auction for charity to benefit the American Cancer Society. So players can place their bid for a number of awesome games to support a great cause.

Dawn sits down with Candance and they chat about her offerings her at the show.

We had a great chat with very cool guy, Paul Alan, about his fantastic sci fi books, comics and art. A bit camera shy, so we talked with him about his passion for writing and art. He has written the sci fi series, Rings of Polaris, for which the 4th book, Evolved is due out any day. Paul has fantasyic art displayed at hos stand along with some killer skateboards that really show the different ways you can incorporate art in different ways.

Dawn chats with Dan and Lon about how it is going so far.

A table full of enthusiastic players are enjoying the classic Star Wars Sparks RPG. The GM is doing a great job of giving the game a dramatic feel and there's plenty of talk at the table.

Gamers are really enjoying Bolt Action on some great looking tables. When this round is over, players will be setting up their armies for a painting competition.

There are several tables of 40K being played.
