Hi guys I just got this in and thought some of you maybe interested.
The peeps over at Wayland Games have knocked £10 off the Incursion boxed game! It was £35 but now you can get it for £25 (sweet let the kraut zombie killing begin).

Over all I liked it but I do think some real models always add to a game but for £25 you can be up and playing with a few cold ones in a night!

Rats! I already purchased this game after watching BOW’s vid originally. I absolutely love this game and I love the fact that you are encouraged to come up with your own scenarios for endless possibilities of play. I agree with John, I have to get the minis to go with the set. The character cards are really nice and perfectly enjoyable as is, but I really like collecting miniatures and painting them. I preordered it, so got it rather a long time ago. What this deal is good for though is buying a second box, something I’ve been meaning to do for quite some time. As the board is double sided and the design is “wrapped around” it means that with 2 boards you can put them together and have one massive board to pay your own missions across. The miniatures really are fantastic (more expensive than Secrets of the Third Reich models but the quality of sculpt and product is much better, making the price very reasonable). Exactly what I was considering buying 60 or so mantic zombies for. As much as I’d like to use all Grindhouse Sturmzombies it’s just too expensive, and my current stand ins, a pile of lord of the rings orcs, aren’t quite so characterful.
Incursion is an awesome game. I love SOTR as well.

Didn’t ‘supersize me’ the film prove macdonnalds makes you fat? not that it needed it. After all, it’s not hard to figure out that burgers and chips are not good for you!!!
For the first time in history the price of a miniatures game has dropped!
Could anyone please compare this and the Tannhauser? Grindhouse is having this 30$ deal at the moment that is really making it tempting. Is the board segmented? I like the idea of being able to expand on the game, but there are ways to go around the Pathfinding system in TH as well … what I really like in TH is the background though.
Anyway; any comparison really appreciated.

I’ve had Incursion for about a month now, its a great game, and i fully recommend it to any one, at that price you can’t go wrong.
hey does anyone know how reliable Waylands is with orders going outside the UK, in particular to South Africa
