A Mighty Retro Allosaurus Stomps Out Of Antediluvian
January 10, 2017 by brennon
Antediluvian Miniatures are stomping around jungles with this awesome looking Allosaurus, designed to fit into your Pulp adventures.
Dinosaurs are probably the one thing we can universally agree on as cool. Even if you don't really know much about them they really are a fascinating part of our Earth's history and make for great creatures to use in games.
This beast might be something your adventurers are looking to hunt down OR it could well be hunting you and the game you play out might involve trying to avoid it seeing you so you can run away!
Will you be snapping one of these up?

nice.
No Feathers??
As feathers were more of a fuzz on these beasts rather than the feathers we think of in modern birds you could mimic feathers with painting of various colours. Dinosaurs were likely much more colourful than what has been thought in the past.
It’s a copy of Harryhausen’s Gwangi Allosaurus, so no feathers…
Although allosaurs don’t appear to have had even protofeathers as far as we know yet. The only skin samples found have been scaly. It’s more the Coelurosauria lineage that get feathers.
For the old school look, having feathers is out of the question.
I like the overall look of this none the less.
