Fenris Games New Cthulhu Mi-Go Miniature
September 14, 2011 by dracs
Fenris Games have a new metal Mi-Go miniature for Call of Cthulhu. Take a look and see what you think.
This is certainly a gribbly looking character and the miniature provides you with some options for variation.
What are your thoughts on this figure? Any ideas of what it could be used for? Leave us your comments below.
You’d be out of your brain cylinder not to want one of these…
No idea what it is but I don’t like it… too scawy!
Would use it for Mutants and Death Ray Guns
and hope someone has a mega-death flyswat to counter it!!
Just remembered what it reminded me of!
The lunar bugs in Lionell Jeffries’s film, “The First Men in the Moon” based on the H.G.Wells book.
Well, these are accurate depictions (or as accurate as possible) of the lovecraftian Mi-Go, the fun guys from Yuggoth…
So this is besides the point : most people will use them as Mi Go…

Am I OK if I say that I’m really lost at what it is. That’s not to say that its not good.
It’s a Mi-go. I thought it was a You-go for a moment, but I was mistaken.
So when it’s your turn to go and you a have a Mi-go you go, then when it’s my turn I go with my You-go, but only if it is an I go you go game.
Have I got that right?
Spot on chibi. And here was me worried it might get confusing.
This might explain everything…

Wish they’d hurry up and release that film on DVD or digital-download.
niiiice, well I did want a Mi-Go army at some point. Got to finish my flying polyp army first, and I need to do a Shoggoth army after that…so after those are done I’ll definitly pick a shedload of these up and do a Mi-Go force.
Kind of shocked some guys up there don’t know what it is either – how on earth can you go through life without ever reading HP Lovecraft?? :O
Its a sinister plot by the bloody tongue cult if you ask me…or was it something to do with the order of Silver twilight?? Not the vampire thingie if you really unaware of HPL!!
I’ll ask Yog-Sothoth since he knows everything, when I next go to the the Chorazas cult meeting, along with other important issues such as why there arent flying lolipolyps yet.
Holds hand up
It is quite easy actually as there are lots of different reading tastes and also a lot of other books to read 😛
Have gone a long time without ever having heard the name Lovecraft or of Chthulu and managed perfectly well thank you! lol
Must admit I would be more interested in watching the movies. (thanks for posting the clips btw Tinracer) and am disappointed that I haven’t come across them before. Would like to see them some time
Plus the guys at HPLHS do some brilliant radio dramas. I know might sound lame, but they are fantastic. Completely themed to the period and scary too.

There are……other tastes??? what…how….well, that does it, I’m feeding you to my pet shoggoth!
Sadly on the film-front, there arent really many good ones out there at all – allthough theres a few cool shorts such as the recent Black Goat, which features Dark young of shub-niggurath : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4iOHPIlIQc
Del Toro -was- going to do a faithful adaptation of Mountains of madness, but that fell through because Universal are twats. Might of been for the best though since it was rumoured to star Tom Cruise.
I wonder if it’s house trained. Can’t have something like that up on the furniture either.
