AJ is awesome, can listen to that lad for hours
Warhammer charted would be perfect for podcasts.
I would love to listen to you guys 🙂
Oh I agree!
Second that, AJ podcasts -Winner
Isn’t there a hive fleet that fell on the Eldar Craft World Iyanden. And because of all the casualties they had to rely on the wraithbone constructs to defeat them.
I think that the Nids threats so far are still probing fleets before the real deal.
@caledor2…….. The “Hive Fleet” was Kraken, and as we know it almost wiped “Iyanden” out.
@doomzombie yes I forgot that it was Kraken.
ah fantastic! i was worried with the new year this series was coming to an end. I’m thrilled i was mistaken!!!
Just started with Tyranids, so good to hear some fluff. Also how do people transport their Tyranids. I bought the £75 Citadel case with foam, but the foams is pants.
Any chance that @aj86 could do a 40k charted on the nid attack on Iyanden.
Great informative charted guy`s, will be watching this one again in a day or two. The Ultramarine’s where the first spacemarine`s i collected back in the day, and i still have them to this day.
nice one guys who says the Ultramarines are boring now killing a Nid fleet.
buy the way folks Roboute gulliman Primarch book has had a price cut on Amazon if interested.
Roboute Gullimean is now showing signs of waking up… Are we seeing the end times of 40k where the primarchs will come back for a last stand against the force of chaos?
Plausible narrative is an essential part of tabletop wargaming and it’s at it best in the 40k universe. I don’t even play 40k but would enjoy the podcasts.
Hive Fleet Behemoth was followed by Hive Fleet Kraken, this was the Hive Fleet responsible for the near-destruction of Iyanden Craftworld. For the Imperium it culminated in the battle of Ichar IV, and the Ultramarines were again on hand to assist. For us dear Gamers, it was one of the first GW-run world wide gaming campaigns. Players could take part in games at their local GW store, or run their own games and write in to GW/ White Dwarf to report their results, all which purportedly had an effect on the outcome. I recall the campaign was run over a… Read more »
You guys are very pleasant to listen to while doing some hobby time.
LOVE all these “charted” episodes! The whole series its great!!!
It gets me thru my Mondays!!!
AJ is great! Wonderful chemistry with the two of them
Big part of value I get from being backstage (I don’t even play war hammer!)
Aj, I was led to believe before an attack took place, the cult of Geanstealers first would go in. (to do their thing) horrible pests. Are you saying before this battle took place, this didn’t happen. or do we not know. Anyway, nice talk though again, love your stuff. Information is the key and you know more then i do. Yes, I have to say Ultramarines was my first too, in fact, I ended up with the full 3rd Company lol down to a man and vehicle. But over the years as better models came out, my force has changed,… Read more »
Great job guys – I look forward to the next one
I to say I have no love for 40K. As a game it just doesn’t scratch my gaming itch. BUT I love Charted. I could watch you both share your passion for the game all day long. It is a highlight of my BOW week. Not bad for a show about a game I don’t play. It is this ability that makes BOW the best hobby space around. Well done AJ & Warren
Im not a 40k player, but I do love the expansive lore which makes up the whole mythos. My first thoughts about the size of this tyranid incursion is that although they have come in like a hammer, followed closely by more fleets – rather than being the first wave of an invasion, they are infact the last fragments of a monumental civilisation which is running from a greater threat in their part of the galaxy. So this is the tyranids fleeing their home system, desperately trying to find new planets where they can entrench and prepare for a final… Read more »
