Heer46’s Charkov Line Complete With Machine Gun Team
December 14, 2016 by brennon
Heer46 has now finished off their Charkov line of soldiers for World War II with a Machine Gun Team, wrapped up warm as we head into winter and they do too on the battlefield.
The team consists of two soldiers, one of them firing, the other feeding in the bullets as they keep an eye on the enemy ahead.
It's a nice simple set but I still prefer having a machine gun (or any larger weapon) team being separate from the machine gun itself allowing you to remove models as they get taken out, adding to the sense of realism.
This is a great sculpt though and tells a little story too. You'd have to build up a good bank of snow here too I reckon as a natural barrier for them to hide behind.
What do you think?

You might want something considerably more substantial than snow between you and any return fire 🙂
Thisis excellent, i love the winter parkas and winter Germans. I’m still waiting for the Kharkov Germans to be released.
nice.
I have been following the work of Heer46 for a few years now, starting with his paper Panzer range.
What I like most about his figurines is that they are simple, straight forward and not over the top. Yet you can see the effect of gravity on the figurine through his simple use of curves and lines. Many over the top figurines don’t have this. The MG team is a great finale to this range. I am certainly looking forward to his future work as he gets better with every release. 🙂
