Dropfleet Commander Boot Camp – Sunday
Battling It Out
As well as the big game we also have a bunch of people still playing their smaller games.
This one was great and features a Fleet by Gareth which he painted up this weekend. The UCM are looking very nice.
Nice looking fleets
Looks great and a lot of fun
The green on these ships is brilliant
I sense that the majority of the players have got the gist of the main rules now, so it is the odd parts and exceptions that they will explore. Of course they are still referencing the rulebook and cheat sheets but it taks a while for stat lines to sink in.
I look at those moons and they are giving me ideas – I know where I can get spheres/hemispheres of various sizes. Thanks to NASA and other space agencies there are millions of reference images out there on which to base any texturing and painting.
aye the personal touch of ucm green on the ship looks really good
What a fantastic way to learn a game.
The moon is great. I am thinking of using cat litter hot glued to brush spines onto a clear Perspex base for the debris field
Nice take on green-white scheme there!
I’m gonna copy the white markings onto my bases too thanks for the pictures.
Green ships and Red stations… beginning to feel like christmas…
Very nice indeed
Wish you could blow the moon’s up to damage ships
Very nice fleet, should even camouflage against a green cloudy planet!
There is the earth like lovely mats here which they do look really nice on.
that’s no moon…
The law of painting means that newly painted UCM fleet will lose horribly to the unpainted one, of course.
Confirmed 🙂
Actually it has been a tight match and we called for a tied 😀
Nice colour scheme.
green and white very nice
The UCM really do look amazing with just simple paint schemes.
Look good guys well done.
Always great to see what others get up to with their models.
UCM scheme reminds me of ww1 navy or cold war RAF Harriers so pretty cool
I am starting to think green is actually the way to go with UCM.
the moons really add to the table. really feel like I’m missing out
Launch the ordnance!
Some of these shots really capture the cinematic feel of the game! So good!
