We're talking with Darren about what's going on with the Hawk Wargames Pop Up Shop where you can pick up some awesome bits and pieces to complement your fleet at the Boot Camp.
As well as additional Starter Sets we also have Battleships, Books, and of course more from The Army Painter too for someone looking to paint up their army here at the Boot Camp.
I could easily imagine myself dropping a grand on that popup store if I was that the bootcamp lol.
So can people in the boot camp use models bought in the shop in the boot camp, or can they only use what came with the boot camp kits?
as long as you find someone that comfortable to play against you with x and or they had X aswell then yeah everyone was happy with that arrangement after the first couple of games
mmmh i’d buy….. 1x battleship of each faction… maybe one or 2 extra stations….cards…2 launch assets…. strong soft and mid tone cans from AP… (it’s a shame i don’t see the new paint sets)… i’m tempted to buy a new pointer
….Lots of toys…Npne of the money..Ahhh well Merry christmas in advance to all who got to get some new toys!!!!
My wallet is breathing a sigh of relief at my absence from this bootcamp.
Ok, seeing that shop I should be happy not to get tempted by it – I’d spent a fortune and a half..

Seriously.. these pop up stores should be looking food trucks… they should travel around and everyone should try to use an app to find them.. it’s like Pokemon-Go only WAY more Expensive =p
I really like the look of launch assets and cluster just as stuff to paint.
Yeaaah that pop up shop would be deadly for me….
Going to the pub would feel cheap compared to stepping into that room 😛

My local hobby shop could use a few of those battle ships .
Really want both of the Shaltari Battleship
You can just use magnets and have both ships for the cost of one. Quite easy modification.
I think I’m gonna have to bite the bullet and get one of each starter fleet just to stop trying to make up my mind on which to fly lol

I just recently received my commodore ks. I could still drop several hundred dollars in that little popup.
The pop-up shop was a really clever idea to add to the boot camp. It’s like having a mini merchant’s hall from a regular convention.
They have more stuff than I had in my kickstarter, including the missing parts 😛

The ground assets are well worth picking up. The card tokens that come in the two player starter set are ok but no where near as impressive as the models.
Unfortunatly the hawk stand at Crisis in antwerp was not yet selling dropfleet. I probably would’ve spend some hard cash there.
Well that was a choice they made. They won’t sell any DFC themselves untill all pledges are shipped.
My LGS dropped Dropzone because it wasn’t selling well enough, so I’ll have to custom order in a ton of bits for both it and Dropfleet in the new year. Really want to expand my fleets!
My wallet is going to hate this game :p
At least with me being at home there is no temptation or cash catastrophe in the pop up shop.
