Sponsors
We've talked about the Sponsors who have come on board before so, in brief, you have the likes of Mayfair Games, Hawk Wargames, Catan Studio, Battlefield Hobbies, GeeknSon, and Osprey Publishing as well as the recently announced Paizo on board too bringing Pathfinder to the event.
Events
One of the big events that have already been announced is that Fantasy Flight Games are going to be holding the European Finals for their games at the UK Games Expo which is massive!
The list of games includes X-Wing, Netrunner, Rune Wars, Star Wars: Armada, Star Wars: Destiny. Game of Thrones, Star Wars: Imperial Assault and the Star Wars LCG.
Players will be crowned the champions of Europe and will get expenses and flights paid to head over to America for the World Finals.

Everyone tells me that this is great. But I can really only make one event so it’s a toss up between this and Salute
As much as I enjoy the expo, if it was a choice between that and Salute… Salute would win every time.
I might be tempted, if there is some infinity going down or if hawk make the trip I will be more likely to make it. i’ll keep an eye on how the event fills out to see if one days enough or whether there is enough going on to keep me entertained for three.
it would be cool to go and see the lads though.
I’m going. My brothers and I have made it an annual get together. At 40ish with families we really enjoy spending the three days together playing boardgames and chilling.
Salute is my time with friends (neither of my brothers are mini gamers anyway). It’s a good day with mates.
I find the two very different.
