The Bear Awakens For Gale Force Nine’s Tanks

Gale Force Nine has a new campaign for all of you Tanks players out there. The Bear Awakens is this season's competitive campaign to be played at local game stores.
Operation Bagration is coming to the tabletop to play in this competitive game of manoeuvre and gaining the upper hand to get the perfect shot.
This is the famous battle of World War II where the Soviets recaptured Minsk. In this campaign kit, there will be several new scenarios to play through including Clear the Mines, Fortress Vitebsk, and The Battle For Minsk to name a few.
Also, within this campaign, there will be new terrain options geared towards this theatre of operations. So, all of you budding TCs (Tank Commanders) out there grab your favourite armour and head off to your local game store to get in on this organised game play season.

So I know the Beasts of War crew have run a play through of TANKS, but have any of the community members got into this and are they enjoying? Is it’s simplicity a good thing? I quite like the models but I feel the game maybe a little limited – I suppose in the same way the PC game is. I assume campaigns like this add scope to the player vs player standoffs.
I like it. It fast and simple to play so you can get numerous games in during an evening.

More than X-wing is a big statement as I love X-wing. May have to consider a starter set for this in the future – Cheers
