New Horten Aircraft Flies Into DUST Next Year
November 15, 2016 by brennon
Previewed on Facebook we got a look at the new Luftwaffe Horten which will be coming next Spring for use in DUST.
You can see it above painted in the Desert theme that you'll be familiar with from Operation Babylon. However, they have also been tinkering away on a Winter version as well.
I think that I prefer the winter version and it's nice seeing the amount of weathering and frosting that has gone into the front of the plane and around the cockpit.
While a rather dinky looking plane I'm sure it's going to be quite the force on the tabletop, or indeed above it as the case may be!
What do you think?

Very nice.
say, are you a bot that just posts random apperceptions?
OMG
To name this piece Horten is a slight against the Horten brothers. This thing looks like a kit bash from 3 different kits… a Horten IX, a He-219 and a He-162 (V12 or V11 iirc).
The front is definately Heinkel He-219, the fuselage looks a bit like it could be a Horten design and the Tail is like the one projected on the small “Volksjäger” He-162.
Here the weired world war really gets weired…
Indeed, what kind of dastardly wretch misnamed this miniature? To the gallows with him! That radar on the nose though, well done mateys! ;P
WHERE’S MY STUFF ?
going up to their door and camping there till they either return the money or cough up the goods seems to be the only option.
Ask your wife. Mine usually knows where my stuff is, which is pretty creepy but quite handy.
Great in any sci-fi world, but I would lose the night fighter radar stuff on the nose, if that’s what it’s supposed to be.
you seem to be unfamiliar with the rest of the fliers 😉
looks good should have upwards firing guns to go with the radar.
I think it looks cool. Obviously you could remove the night fighting antennae if you wished.
It will fit in nicely with my other Dust models and kit bashed Weird WWII stuff I have.
