Look Ahead To What’s Coming To Malifaux In November
October 28, 2016 by brennon
Wyrd Games have shown off what's coming to your tabletops in November for the world of Malifaux. Take a look and plan ahead as to what you want to pick up...
Leading the charge we have the Mounted Guards for the Guild. The posing of these horses certainly gives them a lot of dynamism and you could imagine them leaping around the tabletop as their riders dodge around obstacles, firing their guns.
Offering up no less dynamism we have the Wokou Raiders who are dancing around with their long and dangerous looking blades.
Imagine how hard it's going to be positioning that one Raider on her toes! At least it will look stunning when it hits the tabletop - dancers of death indeed!
Following on from them we have the Hayreddin which is a terrifying looking beast. The wings look a little odd here but I think the overall design of the monster is amazing.
The pale colour scheme here and muted colours would be great when translated to the model. It would almost look as if the wings were one and the same with his flowing coat.
Next up we have the Bandersnatch, a name which does actually conjure up images of something I've heard about before.
After a quick Google (yes, this is now a running commentary on me building this post!) I realised it's from Lewis Carrol's Through The Looking Glass! I knew I remembered it from somewhere.
Finishing things off we turn to the Gremlins and the Sky Pirates! Who wouldn't want to play around with a cheerful group of Gremlins riding around on those insects.
For those who don't like Daddy Long Legs these might freak them out. I think these would be fantastic to get stuck into, painting them up in some lurid colour schemes.
Has any of this caught your eye from November?

Man, I was just in my LGS and I so want to get into Malifaux, but it’s expensive and I don’t know if I’ll ever get to play it. Meanwhile, some figures are incredible gorgeous and other are just too strange for me.
I think I have to get the 2P starter, but they don’t have that in stock. Better get online.
Although the per model cost may look intimidating, you really don’t need much to get going. You can then grow your collection model by modrl/crew by crew. Although the 2p starter set may seem a good place to start in some ways it,’s not the best way in. You don’t get proper crews (need a Leader or Henchman for one). Do you gave a faction in mind? Are there regular players at your flgs? If not there’s a few podcasts out there with getting started/faction overviews or you can checkout PullMyFinger wiki or similar. I’m happy to then suggest a… Read more »
@coxjul Wow, that’s nice of you. I bought Anna Lovelace because the model was gorgeous, but only to find out that not much else in the Ressurectionists has the same style. Then I got Izamu the armour because he looked incredible too, but then I had to decide if I wanted to go down the Asian side of the ressurectionists. I think the base set I would get would be the Open Graves. Do you have any other suggestions? And generally what I do is buy two sets so I can play the game with whoever. Maybe that’s where it… Read more »
the beasts look brilliant.
I`m loving the “Sky Pirates”, as i already have “Mah Tuccket” i think the Pirates will make a nice addition to her crew.
I like the idea of slightly over grown bug`s, to me they fit right in with the “Gremlins”. As for the rocket guy, he wins it hands down for me.
