Brushfire Moves to RPG
September 1, 2011 by dracs
On the Lamb are teaming up with Mongoose Publishing to bring you an RPG based in the world of Brushfire, Historia Rodentia.
Now you can take on the role of one of the series' trademark anthropomorphic animals and set out to explore their world.Personally I fancy playing as Gonf the Mouse Thief (those of you who got that reference congratulations).
Historia Rodentia will be the first supplement for Mongoose' s upcoming roleplaying system Legends, which in turn is based around the system for RuneQuest II.
So come May 2012 get your whiskers brushed, shine up that tail and get ready to set off into the world.
If you want to get yourself into the mindset just click the following link to download some newspapers from the world of Brushfire.

This will be an interesting RPG. Brushfire’s background is setup very nicely.
This will be lots of fun. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for when this comes out, it will be great!

Just a few more details as well: The first book will cover Aquitar, Civitas, Scyzantine, and The Vandalands. So any of the species you see from those factions will be playable options (With two minor exceptions). The magic systems from Legend will be removed and replaced with three complex modules based around Politics, Strategy, and Exemplarism. We’ll also be including a ton of fluff for each of the factions involved, so your a wargamer who isn’t interested in roleplaying this will be a great resource for background information on your army.
