The Fire Giant Lord Comes To GF9’s D&D Collector’s Series

The Fire Giant Lord is coming to the world of Dungeons & Dragons courtesy of Gale Force Nine and their Collector's Series. Take a look!
This massive warrior will be lording over you as you step into his abode. The Fire Giants are quick to anger and love proving themselves in battle so I don't think a Persuasion Check is going to help you out here.
As always with these kits, they are made in resin and come with oodles of detail coming out of every aspect of the model. In particular the work on the armour here is stunning with plenty to get stuck into as a painter.
Let's take a closer look at the model...
The hammer looks like it has seen a fair bit of battle with a few knicks and scrapes across it. It's always good to see weapons with a bit of battle damage showing they're actually capable of doing the job!
The facial expressions on this particular Giant are wonderful too. We like the furrowed brow and the deep set eyes that don't seem impressed at all. The flaming hair is a nice touch too speaking to their inner rage and hot-headed temperament.
The halo framing his head from behind works as you look at the front of the model but we're not sure about it from the rear. The connection to the rest of the armour doesn't feel complete. Maybe if there was something bridging the gap between his shoulder plates?
Either way, it's another impressive Giant from Gale Force Nine and one we'd love to challenge!
What do you think?

That’s very cool.
Very nice.
That is a possible.
Interesting… The whole series is really good ! I am glad that technology and resins have progressed enough that the giants can be scaled properly.
he looks great.
but the halo look as if it will limit arm movement?
I like GF9’s giant series, they look brilliant . Makes me wish I still played D&D. =)
A good looking giant. Base could be a little more exciting though.
