Fight Beasts & Horrors In Skirmish Game, Arkeo Obskura
September 30, 2016 by brennon
North Star have added another book to their collection for your skirmish gaming with a Pulp twist. Here we have Arkeo Obskura, the Horror Skirmish game.
"In Arkeo Obskura a handful of heroes (from the Modern or Victorian eras or even from the early 1900s) face incredible adventures populated by zombies, witches, mummies, ghosts, the forgotten, aliens...
The game system is easy to learn and intuitive and you don’t need a GamesMaster."
Additionally, you can play the game as a solitaire experience which is good and as you continue to play your characters will earn new skills and develop to defeat more dangerous foes.
Investigators clashing with cultists and more is a long running theme for tabletop games and this might give you another interesting approach to gaming in this genre.
What do you think?

Cultists, horror, skirmish – sounds good to me. I’ll give it a look.
While it does sound neat. I am going to need a lot more to go on here than a brief description, a photo of the cover, and a 72 page count. That doesn’t add up to £25 to me.
