Dunwich Legacy Expansion Announced For The Arkham Horror Card Game
September 12, 2016 by brennon
If you're excited for the Arkham Horror: The Card Game release by Fantasy Flight Games then you'll be even happier to know that there is already an expansion planned, The Dunwich Legacy.
This expansion to the game leads you on an adventure which meanders through the Miskatonic University, Dunwich and the notorious Clover Club. Five new Investigators also join the mix as well as a number of different horrors looking to warp your mind.
Above you can see one of the new characters, Jim Culver, but you can also add Roland Banks and Zoey Samaras into the mix too each with their own unique skills.
I really like the mixture we're seeing unfold here between the mechanics of Lord of the Rings: The Card Game and their other Arkham games. It seems like it could be a great next step in cooperative gaming, drowning you in the world of Cthulhu.
Will you be picking up this game?

Those cards look really good.
Got my core set on pre-order. It looks as if the format will be to kick off campaign with a deluxe containing new characters and the first two chapters of the campaign, then to release six packs with chapters 3-8 in them.
I don’t know much about this style of game so would be interested to see a play through at some stage.
very poetically put ben.
I think Team Covenant have a demo video from Gencon on their youtube channel.
They do indeed. It should be easy to find. The video goes through the starting scenario in the core box. As you play through the scenarios, you gain xp which you can use to buy better cards to put into your deck.
thanks fellas
