Add Life To Your Spectre Miniatures Tabletop With Scenery & Civvies
August 14, 2016 by brennon
Spectre Miniatures continue to add to their Modern Warfare world with some new models and scenery for you to work with when creating scenarios. Firstly we have the new MENA Civilians.
These would be good characters to add to the tabletop when you want to keep a target obscured or hidden from plain sight. Maybe one of them is actually carrying a firearm and ends up surprising your squad as they move through the streets?
With quite generic clothing you could easily pick up a few packs and paint them up in different ways to give you a varied crowd of people.
As well as the civilians they also have some new Scenery options with Oil Drums & Trash Piles.
Once again this is great for adding character and narrative to your tabletop. You could then embrace some of those Scatter Terrain ideas you've had brewing in your mind and make a real bustling city scene.
What do you think of their new offerings?

Nice models, could also be used for a variety of other games, like 7TV, infinity, Mercs I guess and other similar ones.
I’m looking at them and thinking they could make great civilians in near future/Cyberpunk games.
They are just brilliant. Really characterful and should give so many possibilities to modern gamers. Nice that they’re dressed the way most people in the region actually dress too, so we can have less Afghan tribespeople repurposed as Iraqis, Libyans, etc.
When you look at the whole range that Spectre do it makes you realise just how much has been missing (at least to my knowledge) from manufacturers if you’re trying to run games set in modern conflicts.
Is it me or do they look like a clone family ?
is that Freddie mercury in the middle at the back?
Oh arse. I’m being inspired again. Stop inspiring me, miniature companies!
I like the graffiti on the terrain.
They would make good figures for the start of a Zombie game, too….
