Shar’tor The Executioner Starts Slaughtering In Age Of Sigmar
July 15, 2016 by brennon
This previously event only miniature is now available from Forge World for their Age of Sigmar Character Series. Meet the mighty Bull Centaur Shar'tor The Executioner...
This mighty beast will be stampeding onto your tabletop as quite the towering construct of flesh and metal.
"Shar’tor the Executioner is a malevolent warrior-priest of Hashut. This trampling bull centaur carries the terrifying Darktide Axe, a cruel weapon steeped in untold years of slaughter upon which burn vile runes of hatred and malice.
Shar’tor also wears Hashut’s sacred Mask of the Executioner, marking him as his dark god’s favoured headsmen, empowered to call out his god’s name with such a malign force, that the sound alone is enough to kill the weak of heart, just as it fills those loyal to Hashut with unholy wrath."
You can get a closer look at some of his details below...
While I was initially unimpressed by the model I think that he has grown on me. I actually now quite like the mask/helmet that he's wearing and the big axe in his hands looks very cool indeed.
So there you have it; another dangerous individual to include within your armies for Age of Sigmar.
Will you be picking him up?

nice mini, shame about the name, execution by bull shart* nasty…
*sharting is a term for following through round by me….
I might be crying with laughter right now. Hadn’t spotted that “Shartor”! I think @unclejimmy would appreciate that.
I don’t think it’s a joke either (like Lion El Johnson) because it’s otherwise a beautiful model.
I wonder what the apostrophe is meant to be for. I’d like to think some thought and knowledge of Semitic languages has gone into the name, though I suspect not. At least it isn’t called the Smashbeast or the Crushbutcher or any of the usual ways GW name things.
…oy vay! It is not Hebrew.
CRUSHBUTCHER!!! 😀 😀 Lol! I’m having that.
Kolek Suneater would kick his ass! Naff mini too.
A rather nice mini, even if the name is likely to spawn a thousand off colour jokes. I wonder if we will see full AoS support for Chaos Dwarves (Duradin?) going forward?
Either way, a Forgeworld AoS Character Series sounds like it could be very interesting, and a good way to explore some of the less fleshed out regions of the AoS universe before GW gets around to covering them in Battletomes.
It’s nice to see bull centaur back but this model is below average.
On the one hand it’s nice that the Dawi Zharr are getting some love again, but on the other it’s a shame that they’re getting such a bad mini. 🙁
Another great mini that had it been made by anyone other than GW/FW (e.g. Mierce or MoM), would be receiving rave reviews.
lol
I don’t understand all the dislike of this mini. I think it’s pretty good.
I think pretty good is a fair assessment. Short of the quality of much of the FW Chaos Dwarf range, but pretty good.
The price must be a typo. Mom Miniatures is actually working on something similar right now, and it will likely be a fifth of the price. It’s not a bad mini… just not worth the money.
