Gen Con Is On Track To Set New Attendance Records
July 8, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
August is getting closer, which means so is "The Best Four Days In Gaming!" That's right, it's almost time for Gen Con. With their announcement of expanding into Lucas Oil Stadium in addition to the Indianapolis Convention Center, it's shaping up to be another banner year.
Last year there were 61,000 unique attendees with a staggering turnstile attendance of more than 197,695 - and the badges are going even faster this year!
We're already lining up folks to chat with and making a list of Gen Con must sees, so now's your opportunity to steer us in the direction of things you'd like to see.
What's on your Gen Con must see lists for this year?

Wow the security this year is a bit over the top!!
its ok its only mace he can Cary?
I’d let him pasd
Games with miniatures, miniatures with terrain and vehicles that go with miniatures.
That first picture makes me nervous already.
Surely that amount of people in a single location with practically zero exits must be a disaster waiting to happen ?
That’s without even mentioning the T word …
You mean Toast? Yeah, it’ll be a bloodbath when the hordes of starved and slightly obese guys will stampede over each other at the slightest whiff of fresh toast. Let’s hope security can cooperate efficiently with kitchen staff so we won’t have to send our young (and not so young) home in toast smelling body bags.
On a more serious note. I’d gorram love to attend GenCon next year. And how did you figure there are no exits from the picture? You don’t really see much except for the stairs…
