Leopard Battle Report – Part 1
In this video battle report, Wayne Turner fields a West German Panzer Kompanie against Chris Townley's Soviet Red Banner Tank Battalion in the Dust-up mission from the Team Yankee rulebook. Part 1 includes a look at Wayne and Chris's armies, deployment and the first couple of turns. Stay tuned for Part 2.

Some afternoon gaming
Having finished assembling his new West German army earlier than he expected, Chris decided to challenge Sean to a game of Encounter.
Plastic Leopard Assembly Video
Find out how quickly you can put together one of the new plastic Leopard 2 tanks - I've was assembling mine over the course of lunchtimes at work.
Assembling the Bo-105 PAH Helicopter
Small, nimble and deadly, Aaron shows use how to assemble the plastic BO-105 PAH Anti-tank helicopter. (I mean the helicopter is small, nimble and deadly - not Aaron; he's nimble, but of average size, and happily his deadliness has never been put to the test.)
Bo-105 PAH Painting Guide
Aaron Mathie breaks out the brushes to paint a Bo-105 PAH helicopter.
Leopard 2 Painting Guide
Aaron breaks out the brushes to paint a Leopard 2 tank in the distinctive NATO three-colour camouflage. This afternoon we will have more information on this unique colour scheme.

Battlefield in a Box Fast Food Restaurant
Every small town has a place to get a Burger Queen, a Pizza Hut or maybe some Louisville Fried Chicken. Now your town can have one too.
Keep an eye on the Team Yankee website for when we officially spotlight this product later in the month as we will create some downloadable signage so you can personalise it to look like your favourite McPizzaKing.

So what's everyone up to in the Studio?
Wayne is still airbrushing on his camo, Sean and Andrew are taking a break to play a game of TANKS (more photos of this to follow), Casey's pile of finished Soviet infantry keeps growing (I'm a little envious), James is still working on the 2nd part of the Battle Report, and finally Aaron's ducked out to us our usual airbrushing booth to work on the Hind objective... and I'm hiding behind the lens of the camera!
German Infantry Painting Guide
Aaron shows you a quick and simple method of painting West German Panzergrenadiers.
Assembling the Plastic Marder APC
Where would your panzergrenadiers be without their Marder armoured infantry vehicles? Aaron demonstrates how to assemble this new plastic kit
Battlefield in a Box European Farm House
Most commanders like the idea of open countryside where their tanks can advance at speed, crushing their enemies in front of them. That's where you are most likely to come across a small hamlet or a farm like this one.
Khairul's Tornados
Khairul is a prolific painter (and really good too!), and as part of the management team at our Factory he has been known to grab early casts of new aircraft to paint up for fun. Here are a couple of examples of his latest work.
British Sherman Tanks in the middle of Leopard Weekend?
Sean and Andrew took a break earlier this afternoon to play a quick game of TANKS. Andrew's Jagdpanther took out a Sherman with a single shot in turn 1. In response Sean managed to start a fire inside a StuG that ended up burning out the vehicle over the next 3 turns. The Jagdpanther was crowned the king of the battlefield at the end of a hard fought match once it dispatched Sean's Comet.

Thanks for sharing the Leopard launch with us!
Thanks for checking out our weekend of Leopard and Team Yankee content. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
I'm off to bed now, hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekends!
TY initially passed me by – had a look but decided not to invest. Now one of the guys at the club mentioned getting Brits when they arrive, so may have a dabble later in the year 🙂
I’ve seen loads of stuff here in the studio past weeks, looks great on the table. Looking forward to seeing what’s in the blog when it get’s up and running New Zealand time Saturday!
My problem is I’ve got Halo Ground Command coming at the end of the month, do I have room for 2 15mm games on top of my vast 28mm collection!? 🙂
This should be getting under way in about 4 hours when it’s early morning in New Zealand 🙂
I’m beating the Team Yankee drum in my area. I was holding out for the Brits whilst working on my Soviets but it wouldn’t hurt to order a W German army box would it? Right?
The West Germans will definitely join my Americans 😎
Can’t wait for my order to arrive!
I think you’ll have a blast with them. I was playing them in the studio today and won my game, oh yeah….
I picked up the Leopard book and the W German box this weekend. So much for my willpower. I think the W Germans will be tougher opponents for my Soviets (expanded from the TY bootcamp force) than the US.
Have to say the west Germans are really making team Yankee attractive. I reckon I might just convince my other half to pick up the Germans, leaving me to commit to the Soviet steam roller 🙂
