Maybe a useful quick reference for a beginner, but you guys have spoiled us with the quality mr. Romain delivers.
I’m flattered…
Then again, did the guy even try blending anything ?
BoW Romain
Nope but then again I think we have to understand that this tutorial is probably aimed at many of Fantasy Flight core American market, many of whom aren’t wargamers but board gamers. Because of this many of them won’t be used to painting mini’s so as a beginners article I don’t think its too bad or daunting. Nothing there for me personally but that doesn’t mean others won’t be inspired.
Well, it wouldn’t have killed anyone to make a wash or two… It’s actually easier for most people, as you don’t need to delineate anything other than the basecoat.
Oh well. I suppose you’re right…
BoW Romain
Oh I agree, but when I’m showing people how I do things the moment I start talking about washes and blending I can see peoples eyes glaze over normally. I don’t know why that is but I think people just get daunted by the words rather than the practice!!! lol.
But still a decent excuse to have pictures of nazi gorillas on your page, I’ll give you that! 😀
You must’ve been hovering your mouse pointer over the picture… 😉
Nope, I swear I didn’t. Come on, look at it – it’s a nazi; “Waaaaargh, who hat mein Wagner LP gescratcht?!”
Nice one, awesome gorilla lol
