Really interesting. I like the episodes that focus on the fluff most.
I really enjoy these too, it just unlocks so much more enjoyment of the game for me 🙂
I must say that fluff is on the first place when it comes to gaming and actually I think there are no games right now that have a broken mechanics and even if people apply home rules and stuff. Without the fluff we could play chess… they have figures too. 😉
The Nicassar ships AJ mentions were small escort ships created for Battlefleet Gothic.

They weren’t completely helpless in space, but attached to the Tau Cruisers, just like Tau escorts did, to travel faster through hyperspace.
On their own the Nicassar would travel in big flottilas, propelled forward by their own telekinetic powers at sub-light speed.
For a laugh, according to some fluff the Nicassar are supposed to look something like this:
Flat, round, telekinetic, flying polar bears!
Spotted your Guest presenter.. Mr Fly at about 20.09….
I Always liked the Tau. After this i like them even more. Unfortunately my brother already plays them. But I am definitely watching the next two episodes for the great fluff.
“They need a referendum!” – LOL.

How I’d like to see an ethereal trying to speak some sense into an ork warboss’ thick skull! 😀
One of my friends plays Tau and I know what they can do on the battle field (don’t worry, I won’t jump into that “they’re broken” speach) but I only know small pieces of their fluff. They’re an interesting race, indeed!
@aj86: It’s not a nose! I think every Tau has a third eye but only the ethereal’s are opened.
I really loved this one there are a lot of 40k videos out there on youtube which are just lore and they are far, far more popular than any tournament style videos, ie what are the best units and so on. I totally agree on @warzan point about using other races, from other games, I have looked at Deadzone for some of the air caste, with the way they have done there guys, as well as dreadbowl? Whatever the Mantic version of bloodbowl is. @Warzan if your going to use the ones in suits like this http://i2.cdscdn.com/pdt2/3/9/3/1/700×700/rac3661116096393/rw/rackham-kare02-at43-f.jpg I recommend that… Read more »
I have read some where that if Kroot eat chaos space marines, they will start to change to some chaotic Kroot type.

Sorry using a mac & no attach button in comments for me…
Of course no where was it mention what happens when you don’t want to join the greater good. You either get conquered and work toward the greater good. Or if you are too much trouble exterminated, Go Space Commie Bastards.
a great article guys never really read much about the TAU but loved playing one in the fire warrior game that was out years ago can’t wait for the next part.
Just getting into 40K myself and I love the look of the Tau battlesuits.
Know nothing about the Taus, The eating your enemy thing is a great idea. But haven´t seen them eating spaces marines or humans, it´d be great.
Thanks for the chat show.
What about the Squats working for the Tau?
Could use a jakairo as an orangutau
