Trollbloods Vs Cygnar – Warmachine & Hordes MK III Demo Game: Turn Three

It seems like it's time for a bit of a gamble from Peter as he looks ahead to what his Trollbloods are going to try and do to get out of this sticky situation.

We delve into more new rules from MK III and look ahead to an interesting clash here. Will the Trollbloods come out on top or will they be forced back by the superior firepower of Cygnar?

You'll have to wait and see!

Well this is what i like about this game and what makes me want to jump in – simple mistake – this guy could just position his warcaster slightly back to ensure that this wont happen (and on top of this he could premesure) – he probably felt confident because of this knockdown mishap that made axer dead.

I agree.. a little complacent and the game was turned on its head.

You can see how positioning is key after watching that turn. Great stuff!

Thanks for showing us a demo game. The -5 damage mechanic looks like it could be a big game changer just on its own.

It has been a big thing for a lot of the gamers here. Plenty of folks getting used to that for sure!

It didn’t change much but those changes address some of the issues MKII had so i’m totally happy with this, premeasure is always a good thing and having a better balance resource use is great.

That use of focus for negating damage was amazing! Now you can move your warcaster forward without feeling completely vunerable if you end up out in the open. Looking forward to play MK III 😀
