Knuckleduster’s Stumpy Stumbles Around The Wild West
June 6, 2016 by brennon
Knuckleduster always have their eye on some fun characters for their Wild West range and their latest preview showed off Stumpy who looks like he'd be a great character to include in your games on the frontier...
This chap ticks all the boxes. He comes with a creaky peg leg, a big shotgun, an awesome hook for a hand and most likely a grudge to settle. I want to know the story behind how he ended up in this situation. Surely some kind of explosion?
Maybe he used to guard stagecoaches but was attacked by bandits and the resulting explosions in the raid ruined his limbs. Now he guards the local town and despite his broken body is a mean shot with that shotgun.
What do you think of Stumpy?

I think inspiration came from a certain John Wayne movie Rio Bravo. in it there is a limping old timer sporting similar features and a shotgun, also called stumpy. Give him a peg leg and a hook hand they would be twins.
the face is very nice, but the upper left leg is a bit strangely attached to the torso?
