Guardswomen Join The Imperial Army of Kromlech

Kromlech have released new head and torso options to let you create a unit of their new Imperial Guardswomen.
A lot of companies at the moment seem to be attempting to move away from the image of entirely male dominated forces, especially in the far future, which is a definite positive to my mind. Not only does it make everything feel more inclusive, it does break up the monotony of seeing a hundred identical dudes running around the tabletop.
These are pretty nice miniatures, with a good degree of individuality to each of the head options. However, I do question Kromlech's decision to picture them with their Highlander legs, as rather than bad ass space warriors the unpainted kilts make them look like angry housewives running out at you.
Would you include Kromlech's Imperial Guardswomen in your army?
"It breaks up the monotony of seeing a hundred identical dudes running around the tabletop."
NOTHING is scarier than a squad of angry housewives. Even Khorne sees that and says, “NOPE! DO NOT WANT!”
they would be great for gaunt’s ghosts?
I think someone needs to be brave and see how the look with actual Cadian guard legs.
But honestly I think a lot of the time with Imperial Guard all that is need is a female head swap, most of the time. I think they will be a lot easier to judge once we see one blank next an normal Cadian guard just them with torso swap. Then them painted. It is very very hard to judge at the moment.
I’m with @caladors on this one. A simple head swap usually does it. No fan of ‘special’ female body armour.
Admittingly some slightly slimmer more female legs and arms would be most welcome. Highlander legs are certainly anything but..
Finally! I own a mechanized company based on female troopers. Most are Necromunda miniatures. Now I have a reason to buy new minis…
