Another great video. I like the change of pace to equipment. 😀
At 1:15 . . . are you talking about a “bashing stud?” This was the heavy metal half-sphere component on the center of the shield in an effort to make it an offensive weapon as well as defensive equipment.
At least that’s what they called it in the center of Roman “scutum” style shields. Not sure if the Vikings had a different name for it. 😀
Thank you !
That is exactly what I’m talking about.
its the shield Boss
Shield Boss is probably a much better and more precise term. BTW – do not Google “Bashing Stud” … at least not at work. 😐
Another great one, Romain! Thanks very much! I would not have thought to highlight the chipped areas but it really adds a lot.
a great job Romain, love the paint code additions.
That is something we’ve wanted to add for a while but never found enough time… You can thank Lance for that one !
thanks lance keep the good work up.
That’s a nifty palette you have there. Did you purchase it somewhere or is it home made?
This is the P3 wet palette, but I find its only advantage is that it’s compact and that you can close it. I didn’t find any improvement from a regular home-made wet palette when it came to actually painting with it.
Thank you for clarifying. I do like the fact that you can close it up and put it away but if that’s all it does better, maybe I’ll just stick with the homebrew version for now.
I made my wet palette in an airtight container so I can close in at the end of a session
Fantastic video 🙂 Now, I will need to put theory into practice 🙂
