New Releases For The Hunter’s Guild In Guildball
May 25, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Guildball, Steamforged Games runaway hit has announced some new additions to their latest guild the Hunters. The releases coming in June of this year will include Chaska who looks like one of our (U.S.) mountain men from the early 1800's with animal skins and a big hunting knife and the iconic Tomahawk.
He is also shouldering what looks like a musket or even a Blunderbus? His deerskins look amazing as well as the loin cloth and badger cap. A very sharp looking mini and I wonder how he will play?
The second release will be Seenah a massive bear and possibly a cohort of Chaska. Does anyone remember the TV show Grizzly Adams? A angry big bear isn't bad enough that the guys at Steamforged Games had to put tusks on him as part of his armour. Nothing like a half ton crazed killing machine coming at you and now you throw in tusks that is just some serious killing power.
Both of these miniatures look really good as does all the Guildball miniatures and honestly I have been vacillating about which guild to pick up and this just made up my mind, oh yeah!
They are also releasing a set of Hunter's Guild specific dice as well as a Battlefoam bag in July. Very exciting times for this game. If you would like to know more check out our game demo video from Adepticon here or our coverage from this year's Salute here.

Excited for these new players- I recently picked up the Hunters Guild starter so these two will definitely be added to my roster down the line!
Hope we see a set of Hunters Tokens soon, too…
Loving the Seenah mini a lot. This may tip my choice in favour of the Hunters, i am currently torn between them and the Masons.
Best bear sculpt – full stop even with the horns. @kantor72 do you have a preferred play style? Or is it an aesthetic choice?
I tend towards the ” rule of cool ” when it comes to picking a faction from a game, so aesthetics are more important to me over a play style. I don’t think i have a preferred style, but my friends at my flgc may argue that i do.
