Check Out Gameplay From Space Hulk Deathwing Video Game

The new Space Hulk: Deathwing video game is looking good and we've now got a dose of gameplay footage to get stuck into above. Check out the snippet of action above...
I'm really like the customisation of load outs, the graphics for the Terminators and the Genestealers and most of all the atmosphere they seem to have cultivated. Now, this is just a short trailer but it does have my hopes set higher for this one.
One of the best parts of the gameplay so far is the way damage works. I really like the idea of location based damage and seeing how that effects gameplay. It could make for some good hectic moments.
Will you be keeping a closer eye on this one?

That looks suspiciously good …
I do wonder if the AI is any good though, because commanding your squad is going to be essential to survival.
oh … and can we have a new board game that’s based on this video game instead of classic space hulk?
That’d be sweet.
plasma-cannon!
…and armour specific damage = Monty Pythons Black Knight 🙂
Maybe time has come that the true home for GW games of the past are in games like this?
Holy hell yes please and good work focus
Can’t wait for this, I love squad-based shooters.
This is really looking the part. Alongside Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, and the forthcoming Total War: Warhammer, it seems that the computer game interpretations of GW properties are on a bit of a roll at the moment.
The developers seem to be making every effort to capture the imagery of 40K and the aspects of the universe that make Space Hulk so iconic. Hopefully they will succeed, and if so they will have a winner on their hands.
Also, Terminator Librarian + Plasma or Assault cannon = win. That is all. 😉
Not to forget the recently released ‘Armageddon’ and ‘Mordheim’, both great games as well.
I was never a big computer gamer and am unlikely to get back into it now, but this does look amazing. Quite tempting in fact…
Has potential, especially if Focus can deliver a stable product with decent netcode at release.
Could just be me, but I’m seeing quite a bit of Republic Commando’s design philosophy in this one. Could definitely work out well!
As a preteen, I loved “Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels,” from which this game appears to take many cues.
If they can modernize and repeat that experience, not to mention improve upon it, I will be a very happy man.
sweet!
looks interesting.
